Gabriel Jesus has named West Ham United’s Lucas Paqueta as the best dancer in the Brazil squad ahead of the World Cup.

The World Cup in Qatar kicks off in just a matter of days and attention is now turning to the big yet very controversial showpiece event.

The final Premier League game before the break has now been played and players are flying out to Qatar to join up with their national teams.

Brazil will be one of the favourites to win it all and they have a number of Premier League players in their squad.

Gabriel Jesus praises Lucas Paqueta’s dancing

Alisson, Ederson, Thiago Silva, Fred, Casemiro, Fabinho, Bruno Guimarae, Richarlison and Antony have all been named in the Brazil squad.

Then there’s West Ham playmaker Lucas Paqueta and Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal pair Jesus and Martinelli have been speaking to Sky Sports about their Brazil teammates ahead of joining up for the World Cup.

The pair spoke about a number of things before the conversation predictably turned to dancing.

We’re used to seeing Brazilian players dancing in celebration, from Ronaldinho to Dani Alves and even way back to Bebeto.

Neymar is partial to dancing in celebration too but Jesus and Martinelli think there is a better dancer in the Brazil squad.

When asked for the best dancer in the Brazil squad, both Jesus and Martinelli immediately went with Paqueta.

Jesus then suggested that Paqueta would beat Neymar in a dance-off and would ‘teach everyone’ how to dance.

Jesus also threw out the name of Vinicius Junior but believes West Ham playmaker Paqueta leads the way.

We haven’t really had many chances to see Paqueta dancing in celebration since leaving Lyon for West Ham over the summer.

Now set to feature prominently for Brazil in Qatar, don’t be surprised to see Neymar, Vinicius, Paqueta and Jesus all dancing together on their way to success.
