Arsenal beat Manchester United on Sunday evening and injured striker Gabriel Jesus was absolutely loving the performance from his teammates.
The Gunners produced a memorable moment on Sunday as Eddie Nketiah scored a late winner to beat United 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans everywhere are truly believing that this is their season and that Mikel Arteta’s men could actually win the title.
Pretty much every test put before Arsenal, they have passed it; beating Tottenham twice, beating Liverpool at home, beating Chelsea away, beating Manchester United at home.
Of course, there is still the hurdle of Manchester City to clear but Arsenal are simply outstanding and keep showing the winning mentality needed to secure the title.
Gabriel Jesus celebrates Arsenal win
Remember when some thought that Arsenal would completely fall apart when Gabriel Jesus picked up a knee injury?
Sure, the Brazilian attacker is still missed in the Arsenal attack but Mikel Arteta’s men keep moving forward without him.
Nketiah has stepped up admirably and his two goals against United again showed his quality.
Nketiah’s record since the World Cup is six games played, six goals scored, and he came up with the goal at the big moment against United.
If anybody thought that Jesus wouldn’t exactly love his replacement thriving in his absence, they thought wrong.
Arsenal have released a video on Instagram of Jesus celebrating wildly at the full-time whistle, first chest bumping Oleksandr Zinchenko as he came onto the pitch.
Jesus then embraced Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli before turning his attention to Nketiah, applauding and hugging him as he headed for the tunnel.
Jesus appears to be Arsenal’s biggest cheerleader whilst he can’t be on the pitch and that speaks to the camaraderie around the Gunners squad right now.
That must be a great vote of confidence for Nketiah, who continues to prove himself as a quality striker in the absence of Jesus.
