Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are reportedly about to miss out on Arthur Cabral in the January transfer window.
TEAMtalk reported in November that Arsenal and Leeds are among the clubs who have watched Cabral in action for Basel this season.
Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion are also keen on the 23-year-old Brazilian striker, according to the report.
Leeds have reportedly been interested in Cabral since 2020.
However, it now seems that both Arsenal and Leeds will miss out on the 23-year-old.
Arsenal and Leeds to miss out on Cabral
According to well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Basel striker Cabral is set to join Fiorentina in the January transfer window.
The youngster will reportedly undergo a medical at Fiorentina today and will cost €14.5 million (£12.06 million) plus bonuses.

Both Arsenal and Leeds could do with a new striker in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are not using Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the moment, and Alexandre Lacazette is out of contract at the end of the season.
Patrick Bamford has had injury problems for Leeds, who are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Cabral has made 17 starts and one substitute appearance in the Swiss Super League for Basel so far this season.
The Brazilian striker has scored 14 goals in those games.
