Not everybody can go into the Arsenal first-team setup though, and Fin Stevens has had to rebuild his career after leaving the Gunners.
Stevens first joined Arsenal at the age of six, but was released in 2019. With no Football League takers, Stevens had to drop all the way to non-league with Worthing.
Just a year after joining Woking though, Stevens was on the way back up. He joined Brentford’s B team and even won their Player of the Year award.
The 18-year-old was was fast-tracked into the Brentford first-team setup, making five first-team appearances.
Stevens is now so highly rated that he is being billed as one of the top young talents in the Premier League.
The Guardian have named Stevens in their top 20 Premier League talents, with the right back’s aggression both on and off the ball allegedly turning heads at Brentford.
Arsenal may regret letting the likes of Donyell Malen, Serge Gnabry and Ismael Bennacer leave – and Stevens could join the list one day with Brentford loving him.
