It looks like Arsenal are already looking forward to what they’re going to do in the summer transfer window.

There’s a few months left in the 2020-21 campaign but the Gunners are planning for next season.

Earlier today it was reported that Arsenal had made contact with the agent of Brighton powerhouse Yves Bissouma.

And now The Express are reporting that the North Londoners are leading the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka.

Arsenal were linked to the 21-year-old French centre-back in January but The Express has reported today that Edu could wrap up a deal for £19 million once the summer window opens.

Interestingly, N’Dicka is represented by Michael N’Cho Ibou, who played a role in Nicolas Pepe’s club-record £72 million move to the Emirates in 2019.

Edu and Mikel Arteta have got rid of two senior centre-backs – Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis – over the past couple of months and it does certainly seem plausible that another central defender will be signed when the window is open for business.

N’Dicka is a mainstay with the Bundesliga side at the moment and all 15 of his league appearances have come from the first XI.
