On February 20th, Jack Wilshere finally found a new home, having trained with the Arsenal first-team since October.

The 30-year-old returned to London Colney in November to keep up his fitness, after Mikel Arteta allowed him to engage in first-team duties.

It was Danish side Aarhus Gymnastikforening who took a gamble on Wilshere, whose injury issues are well documented.

However, Hale End gem Omar Rekik uploaded a photo from London Colney yesterday which is sure to puzzle Arsenal supporters.

What’s the story?

Well, Rekik posted an image of Wilshere back at London Colney, sporting a new blonde hairstyle.

It begged the question: what is he doing back in north London after signing for a team in Denmark?

The photo was reposted by Football London’s Chief Arsenal Report Chris Wheatley, and even he failed to provide an explanation.

In our view, the England international could’ve just been picking up some possessions before leaving London Colney for good.

However, Wilshere has already trained with Aarhus Gymnastikforening, and has also made his Superligaen debut.

Therefore, you would’ve thought that Wilshere had already cleared out his things.

Without a doubt, the image is sure to baffle a number of Arsenal fans.

Jack Wilshere endured strange debut after leaving Arsenal

Wilshere’s debut for Aarhus Gymnastikforening was a strange one, to say the least.

The Stevenage-born maestro had to wait before he entered the field from the bench, due to a floodlight issue which delayed the game for ten minutes.

When Wilshere eventually jogged on, Vejle BK took advantage of the lengthy stoppage time to score a late winner, earning them a 3-2 victory.

Hopefully, things start to improve for Wilshere in Denmark, and he can get his career back on track.
