Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta finds himself under pressure right now – and the last thing he needed was a big-name manager becoming available.
The Gunners have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games, scoring only four times in that run – and just one of those goals was from open play.
Arteta’s side also crashed out of the Carabao Cup with a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City, leaving many questioning Arteta’s position.
Today, Paris Saint-Germain decided to take action with their manager, sacking Thomas Tuchel earlier today; well, that wasn’t very Christmassy, was it?
Tuchel is likely to be in demand whenever another job becomes available, so what about Arsenal? Could they be his next destination?
The Independent report that Tuchel does want a move to the Premier League, and is eyeing up a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United, seemingly viewing them as precarious jobs.

That really isn’t what Arteta wanted to hear, but he may at least take some solace from Arsenal fans taking to Twitter to suggest that they would rather keep Arteta.
Fans told Arsenal not to even dare bringing in Tuchel, believing that he wouldn’t be worth sacking Arteta for and has never proven himself as a top manager.
