The future of Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai has yet to be decided – but Arsenal may be sensing an opportunity.
Salzburg have lost a number of players in 2020, including Erling Haaland, Takumi Minamino, Marin Pongracic and Hwang Hee-chan.
Szoboszlai looks like being the next player to go, but there has been a major twist in his future as a move to AC Milan may now be in doubt.
Calciomercato reported in June that Szoboszlai had chosen to join AC Milan, as he wanted to follow Ralf Rangnick to the Italian side.
However, Rangnick’s proposed move to become Milan boss is now off, with the German confirming on Tuesday evening that all parties have decided against the move.
Stefano Pioli will now stay as AC boss, leaving their move for Szoboszlai in tatters – and Arsenal fans think it’s time to move in.

The Guardian reported last month that Szoboszlai is a target for Mikel Arteta this summer, as he looks to add a new playmaker to his Arsenal side.
Hungarian ace Szoboszlai has hit 12 goals and 18 assists this season, and Arsenal fans now want the 19-year-old snapped up with his Milan switch unlikely.
Supporters urged Arsenal to ‘get it done’, believing that this Arsenal’s big opportunity and it’s time for Raul Sanllehi to swoop in and nab the midfielder.
