Well, Arsenal won’t have Eddie Nketiah available for Sunday’s visit to Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s the last North London derby of the season for the Gunners and Spurs.

And Arsenal have failed in their attempts to overturn a suspension for the 21-year-old striker.

Nketiah was issued a straight red card in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium, though debate has raged over whether it was truly warranted or not.

The Football Association, however, feel that the VAR-assisted decision stands and the young hitman will miss the trip across the capital this weekend, as well as a visit of Liverpool and an FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City at Wembley on July 18.

Fortunately, Arteta has some pretty able alternatives in the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, but some fans believe the Spanish coach could promote Folarin Balogun for the derby.

The New York City-born striker, who’s yet to make his senior debut, has been linked with a move away from North London in recent weeks, but Arsenal supporters want him in the 20-man squad this weekend.

Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter:
