Arsenal fans were not happy with Ian Wright’s support for Tottenham star.

Dele Alli answered his critics by scoring twice in Tottenham’s big win over Chelsea at the weekend.
Alli’s brace helped Spurs to their first win at Stamford Bridge in 28 years.

Alli now has eight goals in the Premier League this season and 12 in all competitions this season, defying the criticism he has received.
Pundit Ian Wright was delighted for the England midfielder, and did not hide his enjoyment at seeing Alli back on the scoresheet.
Wright’s public celebration of Alli’s strike did not sit well with Arsenal supporters, who questioned why the club legend was so happy for a Tottenham player.
Gooners took to social media to lambast Wright’s reaction, while others described it as ‘puzzling’.
There is though a personal connection between Wright and Alli.
Wright coached Dele Alli at MK Dons before he signed with Tottenham, and this is part of why he was so pleased for Alli, but this was either lost on, or ignored by the Arsenal supporters who felt club loyalties should override everything else.
