Arsenal have fallen to defeat yet again on Sunday night as they lost 1-0 at home to Burnley.
The Gunners have been dismal at home of late, but fans were hoping for a response against a Burnley side who haven’t exactly impressed either this term.
However, Arsenal were flat an uninspired once again, and their task got even harder when Granit Xhaka was given a straight red card in the second half.
Arsenal fell behind as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who is struggling for goals at the right end – put through his own net to hand Burnley the lead.
Mikel Arteta’s side couldn’t get back into the game, and fell to another defeat. It was also another blank in front of goal, with just two goals scored in their last eight league games.
There really isn’t much for Arsenal fans to shout about right now, and defender Gabriel decided to send an apology on Twitter.

The Brazilian centre back has been impressive in the early stages of his first Premier League season, and promised fans that the players will get out of this dire situation.
Fans responded by suggesting that Arsenal need more players with his mentality, claiming that he deserves better than what the Gunners are giving him right now.
Others believe that Gabriel is one of the few players who doesn’t actually have to apologise right now, adding that he is one of Arsenal’s most consistent performers.
