Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing the Argentina international.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Arsenal are interested in signing Gremio defender Walter Kannemann, and some Gunners fans took to witter in response to the speculation.
Arsenal have been incredibly weak defensively this season, conceding a rather shocking 39 Premier League goals in 30 games, and Unai Emery will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his back-line in the summer.
Whether Kannemann is who they need, however, is highly debatable.
The three-capped Argentina international has spent his entire career in South America with Argentine outfit San Lorenzo and now Brazilian side Gremio.

He is a physically strong and aerially dominant centre-back, and he also possesses decent pace for a big man, but his lack of experience of playing in Europe will surely be a major concern for the Arsenal recruitment team, especially given the fact that he is already 28-years-old.
And many Arsenal fans do not seem convinced with reports linking their club with a summer move for the experienced Gremio defender…
