Some Arsenal fans on Twitter are waxing lyrical about Thomas Partey’s latest performance.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks and months.
According to Ghana Soccernet, Partey’s representatives have already flown into North London to discuss a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.
And on Tuesday night, the 27-year-old offered a glimpse of his talent with a powerful showing in a 2-2 draw away to Barcelona.
It was a stunning display from the defensive midfielder and here’s how Arsenal fans reacted on social media.
This would be a gamechanger for Mikel Arteta if he could bring Partey to the Premier League.
Arteta already has Granit Xhaka who, it must be said, has improved dramatically since the Spaniard took the reins at Arsenal back in December.
But Partey, at 27, looks to be at the peak of his powers and if he can perform like that against one of Europe’s best sides, the Gunners would be crazy not to pursue if a deal was possible.
