Shkodran Mustafi didn’t cover himself in glory during Arsenal’s visit of Southampton.

Arsenal fans have ripped into Shkodran Mustafi for his performance in this afternoon’s 3-2 win over Southampton at the Emirates.
The Gunners fell behind to a Shane Long goal after 17 minutes and Mustafi is being blamed for it on Twitter.
The World Cup-winning defender did not realise Long was behind him, before the Irishman nipped in to convert a Cedric Soares cross at the near post.
Mustafi, who earns £90,000 per week according to Total Sportek, is not the most popular figure among Arsenal fans because, well, this was by no means his first bit of questionable defending this season.

Here is some reaction from the Gunners’ faithful to his latest error:
There is an argument to be made that goalkeeper Petr Cech is also culpable for the mix-up and other fans on Twitter believe that he deserves a slice of the blame.
Nevertheless, Arsene Wenger’s side went on to lead 2-1 at half time through goals from Danny Welbeck and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, before Welbeck grabbed a late winner after Charlie Austin had equalised for the Saints.
