Arsenal overcame the Tigers in emphatic fashion on Saturday.
Arsenal continued their impressive recent form with a 4-1 victory against Hull City in the Premier League this weekend.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez (2), Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka ensured the Gunners enjoyed a comfortable victory, helped by Jake Livermore’s first-half dismissal for the hosts.
Hull have done well in the early weeks of the season but Arsenal simply overrun them with the additional man, although they had to wait until the final 10 minutes to put the game to bed.
Among the Arsenal players on show was summer signing Shkodran Mustafi, who again started in the heart of the North London club’s defence alongside French international Laurent Koscielny.
Arsenal’s win took them up to third in the table with 10 points from a possible 15 but there is still plenty of work to do to ensure they fulfil their potential between now and May.
