Arsenal have lost to Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.
Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Shkodran Mustafi against London rivals Crystal Palace at home.
Mustafi featured for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Palace at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday evening.
The 27-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Unai Emery’s side lost 3-2.
The Germany international did not have a good game and struggled defensively against the pace of Wilfried Zaha.
According to WhoScored, the former Everton man took one shot which was not on target, had a pass accuracy of 88%, won four headers, took 60 touches, and made one tackle, three interceptions and two clearances.
The defeat to Palace means that Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 66 points from 34 matches, a point behind third-placed and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal fans were not impressed with the display produced by Mustafi – who has been on the books of the Gunners since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Valencia for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be with £35 million – against Palace and have criticised him on Twitter.
