Mustafi featured for Arsenal in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie against Spanish club Atletico on Thursday evening.
The 26-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of the Germany international, who has been on the books of the Gunners since the summer of 2016 when they signed him from Valencia for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £35 million and earns £90,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.

Atletico played for most of the match with 10 men due to the dismissal of Sime Vrsaljko after just 10 minutes.
