Sead Kolasinac has been winning praise from Arsenal fans today.
He may not be in league with Ashley Cole or Roberto Carlos as far as defending goes, but Arsenal’s Sead Kolasinac does have plenty of ability in the final third.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery gave the former Schalke left-back a more adventurous role in this afternoon’s 4-1 drubbing of Fulham and it paid dividends.
The 25-year-old was brilliant all afternoon but particularly in the second half, when he directly set up Alexandre Lacazette for the Gunners’ second and fizzed in the cross which led to Aaron Ramsey making it 3-1 on 79 minutes.
Kolasinac, who joined the North Londoners for free in the summer of 2017, hasn’t always won praise for his defending, but he certainly knows how to get forward and many fans of the Emirates Stadium club were acknowledging that on Twitter this afternoon.
