Arsenal and Chelsea played out an eventful 0-0 draw this weekend.
Arsenal showed there is still plenty of steel in their side as they drew 0-0 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners have improved considerably since their 4-0 humbling at the hands of Liverpool prior to the international break and it is no surprise that a man inexplicably omitted on that occasion – Sead Kolasinac – was integral against the reigning champions.
Kolasinac arrived at Arsenal on a free transfer and he wasted little time proving his worth, earning fan favourite status despite only featuring six times to date.
In that time the 24-year-old has scored two goals and provided two assists and plenty more is expected of him as the campaign goes on.
Arsenal certainly look far better when the former Schalke man is in their starting XI and it is difficult to see Gunners boss Arsene Wenger dropping him again any time soon.
Arsenal still have a lot of work to do but they have shaken off the bitter blow of their heavy defeat to Liverpool with three consecutive victories and the future suddenly looks a lot brighter.
