Arsenal returned to pre-season training on Wednesday – and Sean Kolasinac made an appearance after his return to the club.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Granit Xhaka and Kieran Tierney weren’t involved due to their Euro 2020 commitments this summer, but many players were back at London Colney.
Emile Smith Rowe, Calum Chambers, Thomas Partey and Nicolas Pepe were all spotted at London Colney ahead of the new season.
Kolasinac was there too, though it seems unlikely that he will be training with Arsenal for much longer amid questions over his future.
The Bosnian only played once in the Premier League last season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Bundesliga side Schalke.
The 28-year-old is back at Arsenal, and a permanent move back to Gelsenkirchen appears to be out of the question after Schalke’s relegation.

For now, Kolasinac is back at Arsenal and attempting to prove his worth. With Nuno Tavares coming in and Kolasinac only having one year left on his deal, his future surely lies away from Arsenal.
Gunners fans were taken aback at seeing Kolasinac in training with Arsenal, admitting they didn’t even know he was still an Arsenal player.
Some though he was released or sold to Schalke, seemingly unable to believe that Kolasinac is still an Arsenal player as pre-season begins.
