Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after hearing Olympiacos want to bring Reiss Nelson in on loan.
The winger hasn’t been given much of a chance this season at Arsenal, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to hear that a loan move is on the cards.
However, Gunners fans aren’t happy with the idea of Nelson heading to Greece, and to be fair, we can understand why.
Historically, the Greek league isn’t the strongest division in Europe, and Gunners fans are seemingly worried that this won’t help his development, with a number of fans suggesting that a move to Germany could be more beneficial.
The 21-year-old has of course spent time in Germany in the past where he has shone with Hoffenheim, so a move to Greece does seem like a bit of a step backwards.
Of course, there’s also the worry that Arsenal will draw Olympiacos in Europe next season, and the Gunners have made a habit of facing off against the Greek outfit in recent years.
