Arsenal hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a summer transfer target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to a report from the Sun, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation

The 29-year-old joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £56 million according to BBC Sport, and he has since gone on to be a real hit at the Emirates, racking up an impressive 41 goals in 64 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Aubameyang is vitally important to the way in which the Gunners play, and Unai Emery will surely be reluctant to sell the Gabonese ace.

The Sun claims that Real Madrid are considering making a £74 million bid for his services this summer, however, and whether that will be enough to tempt Arsenal into selling remains to be seen.
