The Arsenal veteran didn’t cover himself in glory against Leicester City.
Arsenal kicked off the Premier League season with a thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester City last night.
Two goals in the final seven minutes from Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud helped the Gunners come from 3-2 down to snatch a late win over the 2016 champions.

Shinji Okazaki had equalised on five minutes following Alexandre Lacazette’s second-minute opener, and Arsenal fans were not pleased with Petr Cech’s involvement in the build-up to the equaliser.
The 35-year-old came off his line and failed to collect a cross as Okazaki headed into an empty net after beating Xhaka in the air, and fans of the North London club were furious with the Czech international.
Worryingly for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger has sold Wojciech Szczesny and loaned out Emi Martinez, meaning that David Ospina, who is rumoured to want a move away from the club this summer, is Cech’s only competition.
The former Chelsea star, who joined the Gunners in 2014, is a fine goalkeeper on his day but he seems to be becoming more of a liability with each season that passes.
