Nacho Monreal was in action for Arsenal against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Nacho Monreal against Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Monreal featured for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Everton away from home at Goodison Park.
The 33-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Gunners lost 1-0.
Phil Jagielka scored the only goal of the match as early as the 10th minute, as Arsenal failed to find an equaliser.
Monreal did not play well, as the left-back struggled to cope with Richarlison, and also failed to make an impact in attack.
According to WhoScored, against Everton, Monreal had a pass accuracy of 85.4 %, won one header, took 66 touches, made three tackles, two interceptions and one clearance, and put in two crosses.
The defeat to Everton has dented Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season, with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea also in the running.
Unai Emery’s side are fourth in the league table at the moment with 63 points from 32 matches, a point behind third-placed Tottenham and level on points with fifth-placed Chelsea.
Arsenal fans were not impressed with the display produced by Monreal against Everton and have criticised him on Twitter.
