Arsenal won, but Mohamed Elneny hasn’t escaped criticism from fans again.

Some Arsenal fans on Twitter really aren’t happy with Mohamed Elneny.
The Gunners thumped Qarabag 3-0 in Azerbaijan to make it seven goals in two Europa League games for Unai Emery’s side.
There were a number of stand-out performers for the Premier League side, but one of them might not have been Elneny.
The former Basel midfielder, signed by ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for £7 million in 2016, did not really shield the visitors’ defence and then struggled even more when Emery put him in an advanced midfield role for the second half.

Elneny was also unfavourably received after the win over Watford at the weekend and although he does a fair bit of hard work, industry does not always compensate for lack of ability.
