Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil caused a stir last night with an opinionated yet cryptic tweet.
Ozil posted a picture of himself training, laughing, with a caption reading ‘You make me laugh’.
It came just hours after The Sun reported on and published a video on Ozil being seen in a ‘tense’ training ground chat with manager Unai Emery.
Emery is a man under pressure after a loss to Sheffield United on Monday.
Some Arsenal supporters were calling after the defeat for him to be fired and replaced with Massimiliano Allegri.
Emery’s treatment of Ozil is not helping.
The German has been selected just once in the Premier League as a substitute and it is doubtful he will feature in the Europa League this evening.
Supporters feel Ozil will outlast Emery, and believe he will contribute to his downfall.
