Arsenal fans on Twitter believe that their side is close to signing Bordeaux winger Malcom.
According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal are prepared to pay £45 million to sign the Brazilian starlet, who bagged a wonderful assist in his side’s 1-0 win at Troyes on Saturday.
There are some unconfirmed reports that Malcom’s agent was in London this weekend negotiating with the Premier League side, having reportedly shared a photo of himself in the English capital on social media.
And Gunners fans on Twitter believe that all signs are pointing toward a switch to North London.
Malcom has seven goals and five assists from 17 Ligue 1 starts this season and, if he does replace Alexis Sanchez, there is the hope that he will be every bit as influential as his fellow South American.
Out of contract this summer, Sanchez has been linked with Manchester City but, according to The Telegraph, Manchester United are also interested in the Chilean forward.
But even if Malcom signs, he is only 20 and surely there will be a period of adjustment needed before big things are expected of him.
