Arsenal earned an excellent 2-0 win away at AC Milan.

Arsene Wenger relieved some of the pressure on his back on Thursday night as Arsenal produced an excellent display at the San Siro to beat AC Milan 2-0 – and Gunners fans have reacted to Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ cameo role.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring for Arsenal in the first half as Jack Wilshere played the ball out wide, before the Armenian cut inside and unleashed a venomous striker that deflected into the net past Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The former Manchester United star opened his account with the goal and should have scored a second moments later, clipping the bar. But he made amends, assisting Aaron Ramsey to double Arsenal’s lead.

Maitland-Niles, 20, came on in the 62nd minute for left-back Sead Kolasinac as the Bosnian suffered an injury, and he impressed against what could have been one of the biggest sides the versatile star has faced.
With Kolasinac potentially out for Sunday’s clash against Watford at the Emirates, Maitland-Niles could be in line for a start and fans were impressed by his cameo role against the Hornets on Thursday night.
One fan stated she was “amazed by his improvement”.
