Arsenal are back in action against Brighton and Hove Albion this evening, and Mikel Arteta may be tempted to go with youth again.
Arteta started the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli against Chelsea on Saturday, helping the Gunners claim a 3-1 win.
Experience wasn’t working, but young players have given Arsenal more energy, and fans may look for Arteta to bring in one more youngster.
Striker Folarin Balogun has shown promise, notching two goals and one assist in just 61 minutes of Europa League action – but he has yet to play in the Premier League.
That’s important because Balogun is out of contract in the summer, and the 19-year-old may well move on if he isn’t given a path to first-team football.
Now, The Athletic report that Liverpool want to sign Balogun, believing that he could be a star of the future – and ultimately worth the compensation they would have to pay.

The Reds made a similar move when they signed Dominic Solanke at the end of his Liverpool contract, and whilst that didn’t exactly work out, they may try again with Balogun.
Arsenal fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumours of Balogun heading to Anfield, with some stating that they would be ‘absolutely gutted’ if he left the club.
Others suggested they would never forgive Arsenal if they let Balogun go, branding him a ‘massive talent’, and both Arteta and Edu should go if Balogun decides to move to Liverpool.
