Arsenal reportedly want to sign the Crystal Palace star.
Arsenal have been linked with a big money move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer, with the Sun reporting that Unai Emery wants the club’s board to break the bank for the Ivorian, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 26-year-old, who earns £130,000 per week according to Spotrac, was in fine form for the Eagles last season, racking up 10 goals and 10 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, and he seems to possess all of the attributes that Arsenal currently lack in wide areas.
The problem for Arsenal, however, is that they only have a £45 million budget this summer, according to the Sun, so Unai Emery will have to sell some of the deadwood currently at the club, if he is to have any chance whatsoever of bringing the Palace ace to the Emirates.
Quite who Emery will be looking to move on, however, remains to be seen.
