Arsenal boss Unai Emery is said to be interested in snapping up the Athletic Bilbao centre-back.

Arsenal fans generally appear keen on the idea of signing Unai Nunez from Athletic Bilbao.

The Daily Mail have suggested that the Spanish centre-back could be on Arsenal’s radar, as Unai Emery looks to improve his defence.

Arsenal have looked shaky at the back this term, but Nunez could help them tighten up if he was to arrive.

And many Arsenal supporters feel as if Nunez could be a smart addition to their squad.

Nunez hasn’t played particularly regularly for Bilbao this term, so a move to the Emirates Stadium could appeal.

Arsenal will be hoping that their defence proves to be more robust in recent weeks, even before Nunez’s potentially arrival though.

Emery’s side have Kieran Tierney, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding all returning from injury, which makes their defensive options look much better.
