Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing the Manchester United centre-back.
According to a report from the Sun, Arsenal are interested in signing Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly this summer, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The report claims that negotiations will start at £20 million for the Ivory Coast international, and Manchester United’s loss might just be Arsenal’s gain.
The Gunners don’t seem to have improved at all defensively since Unai Emery took over last summer, and the Spaniard will surely be looking to bolster his centre-back options this summer.
And Bailly could be just the ticket at Arsenal.
The 25-year-old joined United from Villarreal in the summer of 2016 for around £30 million, but he has struggled for regular game-time at Old Trafford, making just 42 Premier League starts.
If given the opportunity to play regularly at the Emirates, however, he could be a really useful addition to Emery’s squad.
