Arsenal fans react to Leonardo Jardim rumours on Twitter, amid doubt about Arsene Wenger’s future.

Arsenal’s embarrassing 3-0 defeat by Manchester City in the League Cup final this past weekend has sparked renewed speculation about Arsene Wenger’s future.
The long-serving French manager, who joined the Gunners in 1996, is out of contract with the North London club in 2019, but the performance against Pep Guardiola’s side, coupled with the fact that Arsenal are 27 points behind City in the Premier League table, has caused quite a few pundits to assert that his time is over.

The Independent reported on Monday that Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim, who masterminded a last-16 Champions League win over Wenger in 2015, is willing to take over the Premier League side this summer if the 68-year-old vacates his position.
Jardim, whose Monaco side pipped big-spending Paris Saint-Germain to Ligue 1 glory last term, is one of a host of names to be linked with the job in recent days, along with the likes of Brendan Rodgers and Mikel Arteta.

But fans of the Emirates Stadium club seem delighted by the prospect of seeing the 43-year-old Portuguese replace Wenger.
