Arsenal secured a comfortable victory against Sunderland this weekend.
Arsenal continued their superb recent form as they thrashed Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Two goals apiece from Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners the win, with Jermain Defoe’s second-half penalty proving to be a mere consolation.
Among the regular Arsenal starters was full-back Kieran Gibbs, who was making his first Premier League start of the season in place of Nacho Monreal.

The 27-year-old may have had to be patient this season but he did not disappoint, providing an assist and looking good throughout.
It remains to be seen just how many more chances Gibbs will get this season. However he is doing a fine job captaining the Gunners in the EFL Cup and he will be hoping to lead them to silverware in that competition.
