Manchester United star Juan Mata is reportedly on Arsenal’s radar.
Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata.
According to the report, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is monitoring the situation of Mata at United closely.
The 30-year-old Spain international is out of contract at the Red Devils at the end of the season, and the Gunners could reportedly try to sign him on a free transfer next summer.
Emery, who was appointed the Arsenal manager in the summer following the departure of Arsene Wenger from the Emirates Stadium, worked with Mata at La Liga outfit Valencia.
Mata has been on the books of United since 2014 and is an important player for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The Spaniard was a success during his spell at Chelsea from 2011 until 2014 and is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League.
