Arsenal are in need of creativity in the January transfer window, and a host of midfielders have already been linked with the club.
The Gunners are currently rolling with Emile Smith Rowe as their number 10, and he is showing plenty of quality right now.
Yet with Mesut Ozil exiled, Arsenal would be wise to add one more playmaker to take some pressure off youngster Smith Rowe.
A new name linked with week was Joan Jordan, with The Sun reporting that Mikel Arteta has picked the Sevilla star out as a top target.
It’s suggested that Sevilla will take £32million for Jordan, despite him having a £55million release clause in his contract.
Arsenal have wanted Jordan for three years according to the report, with Arteta now allegedly confident that he is the man Arsenal need.

Jordan has impressed with his passing, set pieces and long-range shooting ability in Spain, but Arsenal fans don’t seem all that convinced.
Some think that Jordan is too similar to Dani Ceballos or Granit Xhaka, and simply won’t be an upgrade on what Arteta already has.
Others think Miguel Azeez may be a better long-term option than Jordan, believing he would be a ‘lacklustre’ signing in January.
