Arsenal let Ismael Bennacer leave in 2017.

After joining Arsenal as a teenager, Ismael Bennacer left in 2017 to pursue first team chances in Italy.
He has established himself as a regular for Empoli and has been impressing at the African Cup of Nations with Algeria.
Bennacer played a starring role for Algeria last night in their semi-final victory over Alex Iwobi’s Nigeria.
The midfield star is now 21-years-old. He is currently very in demand.
The Metro reported earlier this summer Arsenal have a first option clause with Empoli which gives them an option to match any fee agreed for Bennacer.
The Algerian is currently being lined up for a move to AC Milan.

Calciomercato report Bennacer is keen on a 16 million Euro switch to the Serie A giants.
Some Arsenal fans are urging the Gunners to take action after watching Bennacer’s display last night.
It might be too late, with Arsenal having other priorities right now. But after Aaron Ramsey’s exit, the club are a midfielder short. Re-signing Bennacer would be a smart move.
