Arsenal’s Premier League season isn’t over just yet, but they already have one friendly lined up for the summer.
The Gunners will be taking on Hibernian in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday the 13th of July, with the game taking place at Easter Road.
Mikel Arteta will be looking to get his squad ready for the new season, and he’ll be taking his side up to Scotland as part of the preparation.
The game is likely taking place as part of the January deal that saw Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Macey join Hibernian until the summer.
However, Arsenal fans think there is something else going on here, and it surrounds the future of Hibernian left back Josh Doig.
Arsenal are seeking another left back to support Kieran Tierney next season, and whilst Ryan Bertrand is a hot name being linked, Doig is on the radar too.

Football.London report that Arsenal are tracking Doig, and the rumours have been going on since Goal reported the Gunners’ interest in January.
With Arsenal now set to face Hibernian, some fans believe that this means Doig is heading to the Emirates and the friendly is actually a part of his move to North London.
Others joked that the winner gets Doig, and have already started welcoming the Scottish teenager to Arsenal ahead of this summer’s friendly…
