Germany took on Switzerland on Tuesday night, and few could have expected such an exciting game in Cologne.

Switzerland took an early lead, as Mario Gavranovic looped a header over Manuel Neuer to stun the Germans, before Remo Freuler produced a beautiful chip to make it 2-0.

Timo Werner brought Germany back into the game, before Chelsea teammate Kai Havertz levelled the game up at 2-2.

Gavranovic put Switzerland back in front with a powerful strike, but the game ended in a 3-3 draw as Serge Gnabry flicked home Werner’s cross.

An enthralling game ended with neither side winning, but what a show they put on – and Arsenal fans can be pleased with what they saw.

Gunners ace Granit Xhaka captained the Switzerland side, and turned in a superb display agains the likes of Toni Kroos and Leon Goretzka.
