Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka has seemingly changed his profile picture on Instagram.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka appears to have changed his profile picture on Instagram.
Xhaka was booed off by the Emirates faithful during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, before cupping his ear, removing his shirt and storming down the tunnel after being substituted.
According to The Evening Standard, there are ‘unconfirmed reports’ that the 27-year-old’s car was also pelted with coins as he left the stadium.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal boss Unai Emery keeps him as captain, but there’s been another twist in this ongoing saga today.
Xhaka’s profile picture used to be an image of him wearing an Arsenal shirt, but the Switzerland international has today changed it to one of him sporting the kit from his national team.
Here’s how fans of the North London club reacted:
Emery, speaking at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Liverpool, said that he wouldn’t be discussing whether Xhaka would remain as captain.
The Spanish coach did, however, claim that his player was ‘devastated and sad’ over the incident and called on supporters to show him more love [official site].
