The 23-year-old impressed for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers today.

Arsenal fans on Twitter are praising Glen Kamara for his performance in Rangers’ win over Celtic this afternoon.

Kamara was one of Rangers’ stand-out players as Steven Gerrard’s comfortably beat the Hoops at Ibrox.

The 23-year-old joined the Gers for a bargain £50,000 in January [The Evening Telegraph], having began his career with Premier League side Arsenal.

Kamara played a huge role in the light Blues’ second goal, making a mug of Scott Brown en route to setting up Scott Arfield in the second half.

And it looks like fans of his former club were impressed by the Finland international, who was on the North Londoners’ books for five years but never made a league appearance.

Spending £50,000 on a player of Kamara’s class is a ridiculously good deal for Rangers.

He is already established as one of Scottish football’s finest box-to-box midfielders and if he has a cracking full season at Ibrox next term, his value will skyrocket in a frightening way.

The one question mark he had over him was whether he could do it on the biggest stage and, considering how he dominated some seasoned Celtic players today, it’s safe to say he answered emphatically.
