Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching a five-second clip of Gabriel Magalhães in action against Manchester City.
The footage in question shows the Brazilian centre-back jockeying alongside Sergio Aguero inside the box.
A fake cross from the ex-Atletico Madrid striker sends the defender to ground, although impressively, he continues to track Aguero while running on his knees before blocking the cross.
Mikel Arteta’s men may have lost the game 1-0 after Raheem Sterling’s goal.
However, Gabriel was excellent and certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.

WhoScored shows that the former Lille man made one interception, two blocks and two clearances against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Additionally, the man who cost Arsenal £23.14 million a few months ago registered 76 passes, more than any of his teammates completed at the Etihad Stadium.
While those statistics are impressive, the Arsenal fans are mainly talking about his excellent defending against Aguero with the use of his knees in particular.

Gabriel has helped Arsenal keep the second-best defensive record in the Premier League so far this season.
Arteta’s side have only conceded six goals from their opening five games.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about the 22-year-old’s exquisite piece of play…
