Everton are said to be keen to snap up Arsenal attacker Alex Iwobi, although they have had a bid turned down.

Alex Iwobi of Arsenal runs with the ball during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on December 2, 2017 in London, England.

Arsenal fans are urging Unai Emery to accept Everton’s reported offer for Alex Iwobi.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have turned down Everton’s bid for Iwobi, which stood at £30 million.

But Gunners fans are eager to see the Nigerian international depart, as they feel his sale could fund more incoming additions.

Everton are known to be looking for another attacking player, as Marco Silva looks to make his side more of a threat.

The Toffees have been heavily linked with Wilfried Zaha, but seem to have other options on their radar now.

Iwobi isn’t a hugely popular figure at the Emirates Stadium, but he does have his qualities.

Iwobi is an incisive passer and a skilful dribbler, and he could be an upgrade on what Everton currently have to pick from in their front-line.

It seems that the deal could go right down to the wire, if Everton do opt to make another bid.
