Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Eddie Nketiah for the England Under-21 side on Friday.

Nketiah, who joined Championship club Leeds on loan from Premier League outfit Arsenal in the summer transfer window, was in action for the England Under-21 team against their Slovenian counterparts away from home.

The 20-year-old striker played well for the Young Lions and scored from the penalty spot in the 39th minute.

The youngster has been playing well this season and has been banging in the goals whenever he has been given the chance.

According to WhoScored, the Arsenal-owned striker has scored two goals in 162 minutes of Championship football and has found the net twice in two EFL Cup ties for Leeds so far this season.

Nketiah will be determined to establish himself in Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s starting lineup in the coming weeks and months, and then impress Arsenal manager Unai Emery next summer.

Arsenal fans were impressed with Nketiah this evening and have praised him on Twitter.
