Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that West Ham United are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah.
According to The London Evening Standard, West Ham are interested in signing Nketiah from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The Hammers are reportedly on the hunt for a replacement for striker Sebastien Haller, who has joined Ajax.
Nketiah is a very promising young striker and was described by England Under-21 manager Aidy Bothroyd as “a huge talent” in The Guardian in October 2020.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette ahead of him in the pecking order, Nketiah is not guaranteed a place in the Arsenal starting lineup.
A move to West Ham, possibly on loan for the rest of the season, could be beneficial to the 21-year-old, who would get more playing time there than he would at Arsenal.
Some Arsenal fans on Twitter seem to be open to the idea of selling Nketiah permanently this month amid reported interest from West Ham and have also named their price.
