Arsenal have plenty of money in the bank according to Soccerex’s latest financial findings.

Arsenal have been named as the world’s fifth richest club by Football Finance experts Soccerex, and some Gunners fans took to Twitter in reaction to the report.

The findings of the report are up for debate, however, with so many different variables being used to draw their conclusions.

The north London outfit have tightened the purse strings recently, signing only Denis Suarez on loan in January, and they only have £40 million available to spend in the summer, according to the Sun.

Unai Emery is still dividing opinion at the Emirates, but many Arsenal fans believe that he needs to be backed more heavily this summer, if he is to succeed in his role as Gunners boss.

Arsenal currently sit in sixth spot in the Premier League table, but they are just three points off the top four, so they still have every chance of achieving Champions League football for next season.

Should they fail to finish inside the top four, however, they will have a lot less money to spend in the summer, despite being the world’s fifth richest club (Soccerex).
