Arsenal took on Al Nasr in a friendly this afternoon.

Whilst many of Arsenal’s players have been in action for their countries in the international break, but remaining Gunners featured in a friendly with Al-Nasr today.
Unai Emery has taken his side to Dubai for training in the international break, and they capped off that trip with a friendly this afternoon.
Ronnie Fernandez gave Al-Nasr the lead though as they threatened to spring a shock, only for Denis Suarez to tee up Carl Jenkinson for the equaliser.
Mesut Ozil set up Alexandre Lacazette to make it 2-1, and Tyreece John-Jules added a third before a late Khaled Jasal penalty meant the game ended 3-2 to Arsenal.
The game was a valuable run-out for Arsenal ahead of their return to Premier League action, and the absentees meant that Emery handed a first ever Arsenal start to Suarez.
The midfielder joined Arsenal on loan from Barcelona in January but has barely been seen, making just six substitute appearances, which have never been for more than 25 minutes.

Suarez, 25, took his chance today though with a fine assist, and Arsenal fans have been taking to Twitter to hail the Spaniard’s performance.
Supporters praised Suarez as ‘brilliant’ and ‘elite’, naming him as the best player on the pitch whilst noting that it was now clear why he was signed in the first place having been so impressive – admittedly against modest opposition.
