Reported Arsenal target Dayot Upamecano had an afternoon to forget today.

The Leipzig star picked up two yellow cards during the first half of his side’s 1-1 draw at home to Paderborn earlier.

Upamecano, who is reportedly on Arsenal’s radar, was cautioned on 16 minutes after some ‘poor defending‘ and then received his marching orders just before the break for kicking a ball away in frustration.

According to Football London, the Gunners are keen on signing the £52 million-rated defender.

But some fans of the North London club feel a lot differently now in light of his performance today. Here’s how they reacted to his display:

Horror show or not, Arsenal aren’t signing the 21-year-old Frenchman this summer.

The Emirates Stadium club are facing losses of £144 million if the 2020-21 season is played behind closed doors [Goal.com], so it’s fair to say that they won’t be sanctioning any big-money deals until there’s a bit more clarity on how the financial picture is looking.
