Arsenal picked up a big win this evening, beating Leeds United 4-2 at Emirates Stadium in a fine performance.
The Gunners took the lead through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and he made it 2-0 as he converted from the spot when Illan Meslier brought down Bukayo Saka.
Hector Bellerin added a third from a Dani Ceballos pass, before Aubameyang headed home his hat-trick, seemingly ending the game there.
Leeds wouldn’t lie down though, and hauled themselves back into the game with goals from Pascal Struijk and Helder Costa, but couldn’t close the gap any further.
A number of Arsenal players impressed on the night, with midfielder Dani Ceballos turning in a strong performance in the heart of midfield.
With Thomas Partey out of action, Mikel Arteta had to reshuffle his midfield, and he went with Ceballos alongside Granit Xhaka.

Ceballos not only set up Bellerin’s goal, but he also racked up three interceptions and one completed dribble, whilst also making 44 passes.
The Spaniard is only on loan from Real Madrid, but has been praising as ‘really good’ and ‘superb’ against Leeds, suggesting that he should stay long-term.
Others think his display may have gone under the radar, and he now leaves Arteta with decisions to make having deputised for Partey brilliantly.
