Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Charlie Patino against the Chelsea Under-23 side.
Patino was in action for the Arsenal Under-23 side against their Chelsea counterparts in Premier League 2 on Saturday evening.
The 17-year-old midfielder scored the equaliser for the Gunners in a 2-2 draw.
It was the teenager’s first goal for the Arsenal Under-23 side, and he also played well in the London derby.
The youngster signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in October 2020.
Arsenal’s official website deserved Patino as a player who is “known for his technical ability and agility in midfield”.
The teenager is rated very highly, which is why he was given the professional contract by the Gunners.
Perhaps it is a bit too early for Patino to break into the Arsenal first team – although he has trained with the senior guys – but if he continues to progress and develop, then he will get the chance for Mikel Arteta’s side.
